Matt is a graduate of McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario where he received his Masters degree in Physiotherapy. He continued his post graduate education in orthopaedic manual therapy for the treatment of spinal and peripheral joint dysfunction, sports injuries, and chronic pain. In addition to his advanced training in orthopaedics, Matt has training in Neuro-Developmental therapy protocols and medical acupuncture.
Matt currently directs the Durham Division of NeuroChangers, which includes a full clinic in Whitby, as well as a department at the Abilities Centre.
In his spare time (which is next to zero), Matt loves to spend time with his wife and kids. We’ve lost count of how many they have at this point.
Jesse’s professional career spans over 17 years in the field of alternative medicine, including 3 years living and working in BeiJing China. In BeiJing he specialized in Acupuncture, TuiNa Medical Massage, Mind-Body Exercise Systems, and Classical Chinese Philosophy. He has worked with a wide variety of medical ailments, though now he specializes in the developing field of neuroplasticity.
Effectively implementing treatment methodologies from both traditional and modern perspectives of practice has been been Jesse’s primary focus for many years, positioning him in leading rolls teaching at various TCM colleges and in private settings.
Generally, Jesse has way too much on his mind, and relies on the meditative process of cappuccino making to ease the relentless onslaught of his existential inspired inner dialogue.
David has been involved in many aspects of business from Real Estate Brokerage, Property Management, and Mortgage Brokerage. He has by nature been an entrepreneur his entire life.
Having graduated the Kinesiology program at York University, David has always been keenly interested in pursuing a venture in healthcare. His passion combined with the use of his resources, he began building the foundation of the clinic.
As a supporting venture to NeuroChangers, David acquired a Class I and Class II medical device license and began NeuroSolutions Inc., a medical supply company that delivers cutting edge technology to the Canadian Health Care System. His quest is to support and work with research facilities, physicians and clinicians by providing state of the art robotics and rehabilitation equipment designed specifically to assist in the treatment of Neurological disorders.
That and play golf with his wife.
Yarinka worked in the recycling industry prior to her role at NeuroChangers. She likes to make sure there is a sense of efficiency to every aspect of each business she has been involved with. At NeuroChangers, she works behind the scenes, but at any given time will jump into the hot seat to help manage the front desk.
Yarinka is so proud of the Team at NeuroChangers. Every member excels at their job. She sees their commitment and passion. She’s is the first to cry when she hears about clients making progress toward their goals. She loves to tell everyone she meets whether at the grocery store, an event, or on the golf course.
On the days that are sunny and warm, Yarinka dreams of golfing and getting her first hole in one.
