Faizal Navdia


Faizal graduated with his Bachelors in Physiotherapy from India following which he pursued his Masters in Exercise Science and Kinesiology from Oakland University, Michigan. Faizal’s work experience has seen him working in a multitude of settings including specialized rehab for patients suffering from acute brain injury and stroke, pain management and myofascial release clinics. This has enabled him to work with a vast range of patients and provide an individually designed treatment plan for his clients.

Faizal’s past work and keen interest in Neurological Physiotherapy has fueled his desire to continue to learn in the field. He has obtained his certification in Vestibular Rehabilitation, Concussion management, and NDT (Bobath) Certificate course in the Management and Treatment of Adults with Stroke and Brain injury through NDTA, Canada. Additionally, Faizal also completed his Medical Acupuncture Certification through McMaster University.

There is no guessing Faizal is in the clinic when you hear his (or his patient’s) hearty laugh down the hall.

Dr Mariusz Fajfer

Dr of Chiropractic

Mariusz is a graduate of AECC University College in Bournemouth, England where he received his Master’s degree in Chiropractic. Prior to that, he graduated UOIT with a Bachelor of Health Science, specializing in Kinesiology and Exercise Science. During his time at UOIT he had the opportunity to be an athletic therapist student trainer where he treated and travelled with the varsity men’s soccer team. While completing his chiropractic degree in England, Mariusz got the opportunity to work as an intern for the English Premier League AFC Bournemouth football club.  He treated academy, Under-21, and first team players. Mariusz prides himself in his evidence-based approach and belief of the importance of exercise. During his spare time, he enjoys traveling, spending times with friends and family, keeping up with his workout routines, and playing soccer.


Emily Murphy


Emily Murphy is a physiotherapist who completed her Master’s of Science in Physical Therapy degree at Queen’s University. Prior to her physiotherapy education, Emily graduated from McMaster University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology degree in 2015. While at McMaster, she volunteered at MacWheeler’s, assisting many adults with spinal cord injury and multiple sclerosis with their exercise routines. Emily developed a strong passion for treating children living with neurodevelopmental impairments through her clinical placements, volunteer and work experience in private practice, acute care, and paediatric rehabilitation settings. She is interested in completing a number of post-graduate courses in the future including Neurodevelopmental Treatment and Acupuncture to further her skill set. Emily grew up playing soccer and competitive dancing and has a strong interest in ways that dance can be applied as an adjunct to traditional physical therapy treatment. During her spare time, Emily enjoys spending time with her family and friends.


Ashley Tompsett


Ashley graduated from the University of Ontario Institute of Technology with a Bachelors of Health Science in Kinesiology in 2014. In 2016, she graduated from Queen’s University with her Master’s of Science in Physical Therapy. Through Queen’s University, she was able to complete a physiotherapy placement in Costa Rica which enabled her to work with many different neurological patient populations. She is registered with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario and is an active member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. Ashley has successfully completed post-graduate courses such as Manual Therapy Level 1, McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT) Part A and B, K-Taping and Soft Tissue Release. Regularly attending seminars and courses, she continues to further enhance her skills and knowledge related to MDT and rehabilitation.

Ashley’s treatment approach focuses on patient-centered care and involves incorporating an active rehabilitation program that is specific to achieve individual goals.

Outside of the clinic, Ashley enjoys coaching alpine ski racing, travelling and going to the cottage.


Dunika Dissanayake


Dunika graduated with a Master’s of Science in Physiotherapy from Queen Margaret University in Edinburgh, Scotland. Prior to obtaining his physiotherapy degree, Dunika completed his Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology from McMaster University.

While at McMaster, Dunika developed a passion for working with people with neurological conditions through his work at MacWheelers. Dunika’s education in Scotland furthered this passion through his various placements including his time at the Queen Elizabeth National Spinal Injuries Unit in Glasgow. Utilizing a mixture of exercise rehabilitation and gait retraining, Dunika prides himself in creating exercise and movement programs to show people truly how strong they can be! His upbeat personality and enthusiasm for intense exercise is felt throughout the clinic. When not at work, Dunika is an avid sports-player and snack-eater. As a dedicated Raptors fan, he has developed sophisticated coping mechanisms for the teams’ annual disappointment which has proven to be very useful in life.


Jenny Wong

Jenny is passionate about working with individuals who are trying to maximize life participation and function and focuses her practice on achieving patient and family centered goals related to their daily life. She can help create individualized treatment programs catered for each person, using exercise and manual therapy skills to promote function and performance in everyday life.
She completed her Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology at the University of Waterloo and her Masters of Science in Physical Therapy at Queen’s University. She has expertise working with diverse orthopedic and neurological injuries. Her favorite placement was in an outpatient hospital clinic in Hong Kong where she was able to work with both those populations, including individuals with conditions such as low back pain, neck pain, and stroke. Jenny plans to further her training by taking more courses related to neurodevelopmental treatment (Bobath), soft tissue release, taping, and more.
Jenny’s interests include concert-going, eating at local restaurants, and traveling. Her favorite ways to sweat are weight training at the gym and bouldering!
