The Amadeo® is the only robotic hand and finger rehabilitation device and it has been designed for treating neurological impairments.

The Amadeo’s interactive game environment, engages the patient to achieve higher repetitions during therapy. While the device stimulates motor learning, the patient is able to see their progress in real time on the biofeedback screen. Through the process of neuroplasticity, the patient can re-learn complex movements through task specific repetitive training.

How does the Amadeo help?

The device allows each individual finger, including the thumb, to move independently and separately. With three modes of training available, active, passive and active assist, the Amadeo® provides a range of hand rehabilitation therapies. Each of the training sessions are recorded and stored in the patient database, for easy exporting or printing.

The Amadeo® device provides the necessary repetitions needed for functional gains, by opening and closing the hand and moving the fingers. The biofeedback software records any force generated by the patient and displays it on the screen, this motivates the patient to train for longer sessions. The Amadeo® assists in decreasing muscle spasticity, increasing ROM and circulation, increasing muscle activity and awareness of the affected limb.
