When your brain and spinal cord are functioning properly, running, walking, and even complex mental activities can be performed with minimal attention. If the brain or spinal cord become injured, every aspect of your life can become more challenging, as your brain and body are not able to function up to the expected level.
At Neurochangers, our treatments are aimed at changing the way your brain and spinal cord are functioning – returning your body and mind to a level of ability that you enjoyed prior to your diagnosis.

For as long as she can remember, Amanda has always been passionate about helping others and giving back to her community. After graduating from R.S. McLaughlin Collegiate and Vocational Institute in Oshawa, Amanda travelled east to Kingston where she began the next chapter of her journey: studying Psychology, Sociology and Religious Studies at Queen’s University, in hopes of pursuing a career in psychiatry. Although these fields of study fascinated her, her program wasn’t exactly the “perfect fit” she imagined it would be.
NeuroChangers Durham added a new piece of innovative technology to their clinic. Reha’s G-EO system is an advanced robotic-assisted device in gait rehabilitation. The device maximizes functional clinical outcomes for adult and pediatric patients with various neurological impairments. The addition of this advanced robotic technology puts NeuroChangers among the leaders in rehabilitation of lower extremity neurological movement disorders. The centre is humbled to be the first clinic in Ontario to offer this type of therapy and the only private clinic in Ontario to offer pediatric gait training.
The G-EO System is the only device that offers the unique feature of realistically simulating climbing stairs. Developed with the purpose to help stroke survivors regain their ability to walk and their independence in daily living, the G-EO System has shown excellent results in multiple applications, such as infantile cerebral palsy (ICP), spinal cord injuries (SCI), traumatic brain injuries (TBI), Parkinson’s, amputees, orthopedic and traumatic cases.
Reha’s robotic-assisted therapy device can maximize functional therapy outcomes for the following neurological diseases and injuries:
Reha’s ambition is to improve the quality of life for those who have been injured or disabled by illness or accident.
